Document, dated 1760, where Jacobus Roosevelt, merchant, and his wife Catherine of New York City have sold to William Hunter, ship carpenter, a piece of land on the outward side of the city bordered by the East River and Cherry Streets.....signed at bottom by Jacobus Roosevelt, Catherine Roosevelt, Archibald Campbell and Harman Hoffman.
