Campbell County, Viriginia 1828

Inventory of the estate of John Holcomb of Campbell County, Viriginia. It is dated September, 1828 and is contained on four pages folded in the middle. Each page measures 7 1/2" x 12 1/4". The inventory begins with a list of seven slaves that Holcomb owned and their value which ranged from $50.00 for Effie to $550.00 for Peter. The remainder of the inventory lists household furniture, ceramics, saddles, silver, glassware, shotgun, a piano forte and so on.
