This 1783 document is a land transfer where Benjamin Conklin has sold to Joseph Sargeant, Jr. a tract of land bordering on the estate of Aaron Lopez.....signed at bottom by Benjamin Conklin, Lucretia Conklin, Austin Flint, John Southgate and on the back by Hezekiah Ward and Nathaniel Baldwin.

Providence Rhode Island 1761

Colonial Rhode Island document is a bond dated March 17, 1761. In this bond Joseph Bucklin of Providence is borrowing money in the amount of sixteen thousand pounds from the treasurer of the colony Thomas Rhichardson to pave the streets in the town of Providence. The document is signed and sealed by Joseph Bucklin and witnessed by George Jackson and John Russell.

"Bennifit of the milk of one Cow...firewood ready cuty at the door...three pounds of Veal or Mutton out of Every Sheep or Calf..."
