This is a Warrant for Mary The Wife of Nathaniel Sherman of Acushnet Village in Ye Dartmouth that she appear at The Court of The General Sessions of Ye Peace to be Held at Bristol for Ye County on ye Second Tuesday of January next to answer to a Presentation of Ye Grand Jury. Exhibited against Her FOR HAVING A CHILD BORN OF HER BODY WITHIN 5 MONTHS OF HER MARRIAGE to do and perform what by sd Court shall be ordered and not to depart therefore without a License failnot to make return hereof with your doings thereon sd Court.
