It is C.A. Garcelon, not C.H. Garcelon. Charles Augustus Garcelon was my great grandfather, and was A Captain, Assistant Quartermaster in the U.S. Army in the Texas District until 1866. I gave many of his quartermaster documents, all written in Texas in the 1865-1866 era, to the Garcelon Family Papers" at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. C.A. Garcelon (1842-1935)later went on to become the Chief Operating Officer of the Pullman Palace Car Company from 1889 until 1906.
