1862 TRENTON, KY DOCUMENT -SLAVE DEATHS -SEBREE FAMILY - Handwritten, 4" x 6.25", ladies embossed stationery, pencil. Verso marked, "Slaves". Headed, "Deaths", with list of seven named slaves and death dates, 1856-1862. In part:

"Uncle Peter died 17th of june on tuesday evening 1856 age 61"

"Iverson died on Sunday night 4th of December 1859"

"Winnies [?] baby -Ella Moss died in February 1862."

Three of the slaves curiously died between February and April, 1862.

This document was found in a collection of Sebree family letters (no longer available) of Col. E. G. Sebree, Trenton, Todd County, Kentucky.
